WJAC-TV: 900-pound Bison Killed in Animal Preserve

CENTRE COUNTY – Pennsylvania State Police have initiated an investigation into the killing of a 900-pound bison in an animal preserve in Centre County.
The bison was found in a fenced-in area of Trophy Rack Lodge in Moshannon, Burnside Township. State police said the bison had an arrow embedded it its carcass, and it was killed sometime within the past week.
Lodge officials put the value of the animal at $3,000.
