- The investigation is continuing into possible scam phone calls from a private number between 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Huston Township. The caller also allegedly directed threats toward a Julian woman. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
- A 16-year-old Curwensville boy was in possession of brass knuckles at 12:11 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Front and Railroad streets in Philipsburg Borough. Charges will be filed through the district court.
- Someone who was operating a blue Yamaha Blaster and committing several traffic offenses at 12:40 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Loch Lomond and Coaldale roads in Rush Township. They failed to stop for a marked patrol vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred at 11 p.m. Sunday on Loch Lomond Road in Rush Township. Someone punctured all four tires on a Philipsburg resident’s vehicle, while it was parked at her residence. - Someone, by unknown means, entered the Halfmoon Township Municipal Building sometime between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 9. Once inside, they removed two, Husqvanna chainsaws; one was a 20-inch and the other was a 14-inch. Both chainsaws have a combined value of $924. - A 19-year-old Philipsburg man was arrested for being in possession of brass knuckles at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Weis parking lot in Philipsburg Borough. Charges will be filed through the district court. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
- An incident of DUI occurred at approximately 2:25 a.m. Saturday on Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg Borough. A 28-year-old Osceola Mills man was stopped for several traffic violations and determined to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges are being filed pending blood test results.
- An incident of theft from a motor vehicle occurred at approximately 2 a.m. Tuesday on Alleghany Street in Unionville Borough. Someone entered a 39-year-old man’s unlocked vehicle and removed various items, including a Sony digital camera, an Apple iPod with wireless transmitter and approximately 60 CDs.
