DuBois Railroad Crossing Work Scheduled for Late October

DUBOIS – Work to remove and replace a railroad crossing on Route 4019, DuBois Street, in DuBois will take place Oct. 24-26. The Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad will remove and replace the existing railroad-crossing, located near the DuBois V.F.W.
This work requires a section of DuBois Street to be closed. An official detour will be in place and drivers will use West Long Avenue, Route 219 and Route 4019. Local drivers may choose to use alternate routes. All work is weather dependent.
PennDOT reminds drivers to follow detour signs, obey posted speed limits and always buckle up.
