Police Report: Clearfield PSP

No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 8:30 a.m. Saturday on Greenwood Road in Pike Township. A 17-year-old Curwensville boy was traveling northbound and too fast for conditions on a dirt/gravel road. He attempted to negotiate a left-hand curve at which time his vehicle began to slide. The boy then over-steered while attempting to control his vehicle; it began to slide and rotate clockwise. His vehicle slid off the eastern berm and impacted the embankment before overturning. It came to a rest on its wheels, facing south. The boy was wearing his seatbelt. He was cited for safe speeds through the district court.
