New Physician Joins Tyrone Medical Associates

TYRONE – Tyrone Medical Associates (TMA) has announced that Anju Gupta, MD, a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician, has joined its medical staff.

During her career, Gupta has provided professional services in Altoona at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, the former Mercy Health Services and at the private physician practice of nephrologist Dr. Pawan Gupta.  Most recently, she provided services at the Hollidaysburg Veterans home.

Gupta completed a residency in internal medicine in New York at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, an affiliate of Cornell University and at J.L.N. Medical College in Ajmer, India.  She is a graduate of the S.M.S. Medical College in Ajmer, India.

The services Gupta provides at TMA is in addition to those provided by Jerome DeJulia, MD, Internal Medicine, Fidelis Ejianreh, DO, Family Medicine and Michael Halter, DO, Family Medicine and Kishor Patel, MD, Pediatrics.

Gupta is now accepting new patients as well as patients from the practice of retiring physician Dr. Romulo Parente, at the Tyrone Medical Associates office located at 225 Hospital Dr. in Tyrone.  Most major insurances are accepted.

Gupta also welcomes walk-in patients Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
