Police Report: Clearfield Borough

  • Police assisted Lawrence Township police with a possible burglary in progress in the Golden Rod area.
  • Police assisted Lawrence Township police with an alarm at the Clearfield Mall.
  • Police located a traffic barrier that was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of East Market and Fourth streets.
  • Police removed a traffic hazard on Cemetery Road.
  • Police were dispatched to a Finch Street address for people who had reportedly harmed themselves. One person was transported to the Clearfield Hospital by police.
  • A noise complaint was reported on South Second Street.  However, the report was unfounded.
  • Someone reported that jewelry had been stolen from their vendor at the Fall Festival.  Anyone with information is asked to call police.
  • Police were dispatched to the Fall Festival for keys that were locked inside a vehicle.
  • Someone complained about a dog running loose on West Locust Street. Upon police arrival, the owner had custody of the dog.
  • An incident of harassment by communications was reported to police.  Officers contacted the suspect and advised him to cease contact or charges will be filed.
  • A man allegedly pulled a gun on another man at Dinger’s Bar.
  • A woman reportedly had a concussion and was lost along Fairview Avenue and Cemetery Road.
  • An unknown man banged on a Cemetery Road residence’s door and then fled the scene.
  • A domestic dispute occurred along East Cherry Street and a man was removed from the residence.
  • Police were dispatched to High Street for an incident of stalking and harassment.  The investigation is continuing.
  • A fight occurred in the parking lot of J.G. Food Warehouse, where two men were engaged in a physical altercation.  Both were advised that they would be cited for their conduct.
  • Police were dispatched to Sheetz for a man who was allegedly causing problems with a woman. She had him arrested earlier in the day.
  • Police located a highly intoxicated person on Reed Street. The man was with sober friends who accepted responsibility for him.
  • A hit-and-run occurred at Dingers and the suspect was later located and arrested for the incident.
  • Police located a road barrier that was struck by someone. It was lying in the middle of the roadway on East Market Street and had sustained extensive damage.
  • Police were requested to check the welfare of a woman who was possibly in the East End area.  She wasn’t in the area and the complainant was advised of the same.
  • Police stopped a vehicle that turned from Bridge Street onto North Second Street.  It was traveling the wrong way on a one-way street.  The vehicle was stopped in the parking lot of Thompson and Buck and the driver was found to be driving under the influence.
