No Injuries Reported after I-80 Mishap in Pine Township

PINE TOWNSHIP – No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle mishap along Interstate 80 eastbound at mile marker 110 in Pine Township, according to the Clearfield-based state police.

Benjamin L. Jefferys, 19, of Erie was traveling in the left-hand lane on I-80, when the right, rear tire blew out. He subsequently lost control of his vehicle and traveled into the center median, where his vehicle collided with an embankment.

Jefferys wasn’t injured in the accident. He was wearing his seatbelt. His vehicle was towed from the scene.
