LeBron sizzles as Heat torch Clippers in preseason contest

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E Sports) – LeBron James recorded 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to power Miami Heat past the Los Angeles Clippers, 94-80, in the first game of two-part exhibition trip at Mastercard Center.

James showcased his talents in the preseason game in China, going 6-for-11 from the field and 8-for-9 from the charity stripe in 27 minutes of action.

Fresh from inking a multi-million endorsement deal with Chinese shoe brand Li-Ning, Dwyane Wade had a quiet night with five points and 4 boards over 23 minutes.

Blake Griffin scored 19 points for the Clippers, still missing the services of point guard Chris Paul.

The Heat outscored the Clippers by 11 points, 29-18, in the first quarter and sustained their lead throughout.

Ray Allen (15 pts) knocked down four of Miami’s 11 treys while the Clippers committed 25 unforced errors.
