Madison, WI, United States (4E Sports) – Wisconsin Badgers forward Mike Bruesewitz will miss the next four to six weeks after sustaining a laceration to his lower leg during a practice session Tuesday.

According to a source, Bruesewitz suffered the injury after “awkwardly coming in contact with the back half of the basket standard” while he’s driving out of bounds.

The laceration was reportedly severe enough that it could not be stitched on the site.

Bruesewitz, one of the starting seniors for the Badgers, averaged 5.6 points and 5.1 rebounds in 2011-2012 season for Wisconsin. He’s now starting his rehabilation.
