Obituary Notice: Ann Marie Frankhouser

Ann Marie Frankhouser, 71, of the Ridgeview Elder Care Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville and formerly of Morrisdale died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 at the Altoona Regional Health System.

Born Jan. 29, 1941 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel Mae (Stevens) Hoover. She was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church, Morrisdale.

Ms. Frankhouser was a homemaker. She enjoyed art, sewing and cooking.

She attended the Morris Township High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Chenoa Hollabaugh and two brothers, John and James Hoover.

She’s survived by three daughters, Kathryn A. Nudge and her husband, Rick of Morrisdale; Angel S. Shadowolf of West Decatur and Elizabeth Frankhouser of Towanda.

Also surviving are one brother, Deacon Robert G. Hoover and his wife, Dorothy of Morrisdale; three grandchildren, Justin Hollabaugh, Logan Hollabaugh and his wife, Jade; and Robert Bush Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Asreal Hollabaugh and Rowan Bush.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg, with her brother, Deacon Robert G. Hoover, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Agnes Cemetery, Morrisdale.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m.
