Manhattan, United States (4E) – A week after this extradition from Britain, radical Islamic preacher Abu Hamza appeared at a Manhattan court on Tuesday where he pleaded not guilty to 11 terror charges against him.

Egyptian-born cleric Hamza is accused of plotting to set up an al-Qaeda style training camp in American city Oregon, participating in a 1998 hostage-tacking incident in Yemen which killed three Britons and an Australian and supporting Taliban in Afghanistan.

The one-eyed, handless cleric had fought eight-year-long battle to avoid his extradition to the U.S. where he fears he could face life imprisonment for terror charges. However, Britain extradited him last Friday along with four other men.
