State Police Probing Runway Damage at Mid-State Airport

RUSH TOWNSHIP – Runway light assemblies were damaged during an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime between 1 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Monday at the Mid-State Airport in Rush Township, according to the Philipsburg-based state police.
Someone damaged nine runway light assemblies and caused an estimated $900 worth of damage, state police said. They searched the area for suspects with negative results.
