Cincinnati, OH, United States (4E Sports) – Buster Posey scored the winning run on a throwing error in the 10th inning as the San Francisco Giants notched a 3-2 victory over the Cincinnati Reds in Game 3 of their National League Division Series Tuesday at Great American Ball Park.

S.F. moved within 2-1 in the best-of-five series.

Posey delivered the game-winning run on a throwing miscue by third baseman Scott Rolen.

Looking to wrap up their ALDS series with the Giants in three games, the Reds took an early lead with a RBI single by Jay Bruce in the first inning.

Angel Pagan evened things up with a run-producing sacrifice fly in the third inning while the Giants bullpen stepped up to hold the Reds scoreless the rest of the way.

Ryan Vogelsong allowed three hits and one run with five strikeouts over five innings, while Reds pitcher Homer Bailey allowed one hit and a run over seven innings.

Game 4 of the Giants-Reds series is slated Wednesday at Great American Ball Park.
