Inmate Dies of Natural Causes at SCI-Houtzdale

HOUTZDALE – A 58-year-old inmate, William Arnold Pitts, died at 9:08 p.m. Monday at the State Correctional Institution at Houtzdale, according to the Clearfield-based state police.
Pitts died of natural causes, state police said. The inmate had an extensive medical history and has been suffering from cancer.
