Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

  • No injuries reported following a two-vehicle accident at 12 p.m. Oct. 2 at the intersection of U.S. Route 322 with Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg Borough. Tammy Owens of Winburne failed to stop at a red light and struck a vehicle operated by Ann Williamson of Philipsburg. Both were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
  • No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 8:15 p.m. Friday on Sunnyside Hollow Road in Worth Township. Seth M. Gummo, 35, of Bellefonte was traveling eastbound at which point he failed to notice a posted stop sign at the intersection with U.S. Route 220. Gummo slammed on his brakes, sliding through the intersection and across the roadway, where his vehicle struck a utility pole head-on. Gummo was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident. He was cited for stop signs and yield signs.
