A Thousand fingers banana displayed at Manila agri expo

Manila, Philippines (4E) – A thousand fingers banana plant is among the agricultural exhibit at the 19th International Agribusiness Exhibition and Seminars at the World Trade Center in Pasay City south of Manila on Friday.

The stalk of the banana plant, which is grown in Batangas province south of Manila, is selling for $36. It can grow to produce hundreds of banana fingers.

Aside from fruits and vegetables, livestock such as cattle, mountain goats, sheeps, wild boars, turkeys, miniature horse, greyhounds, pigs and chickens are exhibited in the annual agricultural exposition.
