Clearfield JV Football Blanks Central Mountain

LOCK HAVEN — The Clearfield Area High School Junior Varsity football team posted its second consecutive shutout on Monday night when they blanked the host Central Mountain Wildcats 7-0.

Clearfield climbs to 4-1 for the season after the win.

The lone score on the night came on a second quarter 45-yard touchdown pass from Sawyer Rowles to Jake Wingate.  Josh Sorbera tacked on the extra point to set the final at 7-0.

Leading the defensive charge for the Bison were Wyatt Flanagan, who had a fumble recovery and interception, and Jake Lansberry, who added a fumble recovery as well.

Clearfield will travel to Bellefonte on Monday October 8 for their next game.
