State Police Investigating Two-vehicle Accident in Covington Township

COVINGTON TOWNSHIP – The investigation is continuing into a two-vehicle accident that occurred at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday on state Route 879 near Dales Drive in Covington Township, according to the Clearfield-based state police.

Henri P. Brossard, 23, and Joshua M. Jozefick, 18, both of Frenchville, were traveling northbound on SR 879. Jozefick attempted a left-hand turn at which point Brossard attempted to pass the Jozefick vehicle, causing the accident.

State police discovered that Jozefick was operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for medical treatment.

Brossard wasn’t injured in the accident. However, he was cited for various vehicle code violations.
