Pit bull kills 3-year old baby in Texas
Burleson, TX, United States (4E) – A 3-month-old baby boy died Monday night after being brutally attacked by the family’s pit bull.
Burleson police responded to a 911 hang-up call that turned out to be a family disturbance at a residence on Linda Drive at about 6:45 p.m.
The officers, who remained in the scene for an hour talking to the family saw the sleeping baby, Rayden Bruce, being held by a relative. The child was then taken inside and placed on a bed.
After a few minutes, the police heard screams coming from inside the home followed by a man running outside carrying the injured little boy.
The child was rushed to Cook Children’s Hospital where he died.
The dog was quarantined and euthanized by Burleson Animal Control.
Friends of the family said that the dog did not show any previous signs of aggression toward the child.
Police are investigating the case and have not confirmed if criminal charges will be filed.

This is horrible!!! Child protective services needs to investigate these so-called parents. Responsible dog owners had their dog on a chain and behind a fence. 1. How do you leave a 4 year old baby alone? Someone could have easily snacthed both of those childern up in the time it took for this to happen (and the parents didn’t hear a dog attack..you think they would have noticed a skilled pervert taking their childern?). I am sorry for their loss, they should count their blessings that nothing bad happened to their daughter.
