Kentucky woman stole over $6,000 in infant formula

Louisville, KY, United States (4E) – A Louisville woman is charged with stealing more than $6,000 worth of infant formula last Saturday.

According to the police report, 18-year-old Ruby Bard was caught on Kroger store’s security camera stuffing 41 cans of baby formula into a big blue tub before attempting to leave without paying.

Officers said she had no wallet and no money to pay for the stolen items.

Bard was also recorded on camera filling the same tub with baby formula worth a total of $6,200 on Sept. 10, Sept. 13 and Aug. 25, 26 and 30.

She is now officially banned from all Kroger stores.

Police reported that Bard is charged with stealing in connection to the recent incident and additional charges may follow at a later date.
