Huntingdon Girls Sweep Clearfield for Second Time

CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Area High School girl’s tennis faced off with Mountain League foe Huntingdon for the second time on Tuesday afternoon with the same results as the first time – a 7-0 loss.
With the loss the Lady Bison dropped to 0-8 on the season.
Singles Results:
1. Yesh Patel (clfd) lost to Summer Kyser (h) 0-6, 2-6.
2. Lauren Witmer (clfd) lost to Abby Snare (h) 0-6, 2-6.
3. Rachael Johnson (clfd) lost to Katie Gipe (h) 0-6, 0-6.

1. Patel;/Johnson (clfd) lost in a pro set match to Leah Mitchell/Snare (h) 2-8.
2. forfeit
Clearfield will take the long trip to District 9 opponent Bradford on Thursday September 27 for their next match.
