Obituary Notice: Sarah E. Lumadue
Sarah E. Lumadue, 85, of West Decatur died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 at her home. Born July 21, 1927 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Joseph C. and Beulah B. (Rowles) Pry.
Mrs. Lumadue was a former employee of the Overhall Factory and McGregor’s Sportswear, both of Clearfield, and Kent Sportswear of Curwensville.
She was a member of the Bible Tabernacle Church of Mineral Springs.
Mrs. Lumadue loved doing crafts and enjoyed belonging to the Civic Center Craft Group of Curwensville.
She is survived by her son, Larry J. Lumadue and his wife, Barbara of West Decatur; a granddaughter, Michelle Lonneville and her husband, Jerry of Dresden, NY; and three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are five brothers, Albert C. Pry of Clearfield, Paul L. Pry and his wife, Dee, the Rev. Kenneth L. Pry and his wife, Carole, Joseph W. Pry and his wife, Sandra, all of Mineral Springs, Samuel E. Pry and his wife, Dolores of Cherry Tree; seven sister-in-laws, Darlene Pry, Linda Pry, Lillian Wisor, Edna Kephart, Beverly Lumadue, Judy Lumadue and Elva Lumadue; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lumadue was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hollis J. “Bum” Lumadue, who died Nov. 24, 1999 and who she married Dec. 24,1950; two sisters, Cleda Royer and Bessie Brown; and two brothers, Richard W. Pry and David A Pry.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield with her brother, the Rev. Kenneth L. Pry officiating. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of the services Thursday at the funeral home.
