Baltimore, MD, United States (NewsBahn) – Sports took a back seat to other concerns for Baltimore Ravens wideout Torrey Smith, who left to be with his family after the death of his brother, Tevin, in a motorcycle crash in Virginia.

Tevin Smith was just 19-years-old.

The Ravens organization expressed their sympathy for the Smith family’s loss.

“This is devastatingly sad, sad news. Torrey and his family are a close, special family, and our hearts and thoughts reach out to all of them. Our hearts ache today,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said in a statement. “We pray for Tevin, his mother, Torrey and the rest of the family. God bless Tevin.”

Torrey Smith issued a tweet about his feelings.

“I can’t believe my little brother is gone…be thankful for your loved ones and tell them you love them…this is the hardest thing ever.”
