Sleeping baby towed from home in Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach, VA, United States (4E) – An vehicle in Virginia Beach was towed with a sleeping 21-month-old child last Wednesday.
The mother left the slumbering toddler inside the parked car in a fire lane near her apartment and rushed home to get something.
Authorities were called to investigate after the mother called 911 in panic and reported that her wagon and her toddler were missing.
The car and the child ended up in six miles away, at a towing service Norfolk where he was picked up by his father, Naga Kamineni.
In an interview with 13News, Kamineni said that “it’s a mistake, my wife just she didn’t want to wake him up and she was seeing him from the window.”
The mother, who thought that the wagon was stolen, is allegedly not facing charges.
The little boy was not hurt in the incident.
