Man critically wounded in Chicago robbery

Chicago, IL, United States (4E) – A man in his 70s was shot and critically wounded after being shot last Thursday during a robbery in the Humboldt Park district in Chicago.

The still unidentified man was in a bus service lane at the Chicago Avenue Garage Federal Credit Union in North Pulanski Road when two person came over, robbed him and fired, hitting him in the leg.

The robbers used a van to fled which police later discovered. Two people were taken for custody and are now being investigated, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli.

The victim was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
