State Police Probing Child Rape Incident

CHEST TOWNSHIP – An incident of child rape occurred sometime between 12:01 a.m. March 1, 2010 and 12 a.m. March 31, 2011 on Short Cut Road in Chest Township.
The Clearfield-based state police said that a 31-year-old Glen Hope man allegedly raped an 8-year-old Beccaria boy and a 5-year-old Beccaria girl. The investigation is currently ongoing with the assistance of Clearfield County Children, Youth and Family Services.
Charges are currently pending against the man, state police said. No further information was provided in the state police report.
