Obituary Notice: Beatrice A. Gudinas

Beatrice A. Gudinas, 96, formerly of DuBois, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012 at the Brady View Manor in East Brady.

Born May 3, 1916 in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Theophilus “Tom” and Mary (Lakitski) Gudinas.

She owned and operated the Goode Employment Agency in Chicago, IL for many years.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and was active in the DuBois Senior Citizens Center.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Tessie Gudinas, Helen C. Gudinas and Mary Stiteler and two brothers, Joseph and John Gudinas.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Thursday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with Fr. David Foradori as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
