Police Report: Clearfield Borough

- A traffic complaint occurred when a motorist ran a stop sign and almost caused an accident. The driver was issued a citation.
- Police arrested a male for trespass after an incident along Nichols Street.
- A juvenile allegedly shoplifted at Sheetz and located the juvenile in possession of the stolen goods.
- A vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation and police found an open container of alcohol inside. Citations were issued to the driver for various violations.
- A neighbor dispute occurred on South Fourth Street; it was handled at the scene.
- Police checked the Corman Railroad for kids who were reportedly running around at nighttime. Police were unable to locate anyone.
- Police assisted Mental Health/Mental Retardation with an incident along North Third Street. As a result, a female was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for evaluation.
- Police handled an incident of harassment that occurred at the Clearfield Hospital.
- A small terrier puppy was found along Elm Avenue. Clearfield/Lawrence Township Dog Law responded for the puppy.
- Police were asked by the Harford County, MD Sheriff’s office to assist in locating a missing person who may be residing in Clearfield.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred in the parking lot of a local establishment. The incident was unfounded.
- Police responded to a 911 hang-up call. Everything was found to be OK.
- Police responded to the Clearfield Hospital for a reported assault. The investigation is continuing at this time.
- Police observed a verbal disturbance outside a local establishment. The incident was handled by police.
- Police received a report about a female who was stealing a stop sign.
- Police responded to an open door at a storage building. Upon searching the building, police secured it.
- A verbal altercation reportedly occurred behind Sheetz. However, the responsible persons were gone prior to police arrival.
- A suspicious male was reported in the area of Nichols and West Front Street. He was reportedly looking for another male to fight.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with a domestic assault in Glen Richey.
