Thompson Comments on 11th Anniversary of 9/11

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson today issued the following statement in observance of the eleventh anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

“On the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, Americans join together in remembrance of the thousands of lives lost to senseless violence in New York, the Pentagon and Shanksville. We pray for the families and loved ones of those we lost.

“We say thank you to the brave men and women who acted as first responders. And we thank our service men and women who have sacrificed to keep this nation safe in the years since. Despite political differences, today, we come together as one country, one nation, one America.”
