Akron, OH, United States (4E Sports) – Miami Heat’s LeBron James and Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant are going through another week of intense training for the second straight offseason, a source close to situation reported Tuesday.
Coming off a triumphant stint with Team USA in the 2012 London Olympics, James and Durant are still striving to improve each other’s game.
The two basketball superstars are reportedly working out near James’ residence in Akron, Ohio, the same area where they conducted a two-a-day training under the tutelage of LeBron’s trainer Mike Mancias last year.
“Just finished a great workout with @KDTrey5. On court work, ran the hill and finished running the football field. #StriveforGreatness,” James posted on his Twitter account on Monday.
Durant also tweeted about his workout with LBJ.
“I got better today! That’s all that matters!! Move em.” Durant’s account said.
James and Durant credited their Hell Week experience for improving their games going into the 2011-2012 season and subsequently paving the way for the two superstars to meet in the 2012 NBA Finals – a series won by LeBron’ Heat in five games.
