Police Report: Clearfield Borough

• Police arrested a man for DUI after he was involved in an accident along South Fifth Street.  The man had two children inside the vehicle at the time of the accident.
• Police arrested a man for domestic violence after he allegedly struck a woman several times, causing injuries.  He was arraigned and placed in the Clearfield County Jail.
• Police arrested a man for an outstanding warrant from the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office after he was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation.  He was transported to the CCJ.
• Someone was reportedly looking into vehicles in East End.
• A motorist was assisted in unlocking their vehicle at the Clearfield Driving Park.
• Police are investigating an alleged assault between two juvenile males that occurred at the Clearfield Driving Park.
• A suspicious phone call was reported to police, where the caller inquired about personal information.
• Police responded to Merrill Street for an altercation over an alleged stolen bicycle.
• Police responded to Hillsdale for a reported suspicious vehicle.  The vehicle was gone prior to police arrival.
• A woman was reportedly intoxicated and walking in the middle of South Second Street. Police located the woman who was not intoxicated and stated that she would use the sidewalk.
• A man was walking downtown during nighttime hours and dropped an object and fled the scene.  Police retrieved the object, which was a knife, and then located the man.  Police handled the incident.
•  A report of missing funds from a local organization was reported to police.  An investigation is being conducted at this time.
• Police responded to East End for a report of a verbal altercation.  The persons involved were gone prior to police arrival.
• Police responded to East End for a barking dog complaint.
• Police assisted emergency personnel with an unconscious fall patient in a parking lot. The person was transported for medical treatment.
• Police responded to North Second Street for an altercation between two women.  An investigation is being conducted at this time.
• Police responded to a vehicle fire in Lawrence Township after it had been reported stolen from the borough a few nights earlier.
• Police received a call about a missing person and located her. She was advised her to call her friend.
• Police have received multiple complaints about a suspicious individual.  The individual was located and warned about his actions.
• A purse was located behind a local establishment; police attempted to make contact with the owner.  The owner can claim it at the police station.
• Police recovered a bicycle that was located along Reed Street.  The owner of the bike and claim it at the police station.
• Police received a report about stolen clothes from a local Laundromat.  An investigation is being conducted at this time.
• Police received a report about three individuals who were attempting to break into a storage building.  Police located the individuals who stated that they were attempting to obtain Wifi access.
• Police responded to a parking complaint between neighbors.
