Cincinnati, OH, United States (4E Sports) – Munchie Legaux completed 14 of his 28 passes for 205 yards with two touchdowns and Cincinnati Bearcats roared their way to 34-10 win over the Pittsburgh Panthers Thursday at Nippert Stadium.

Cincinnati opened their Big East campaign on a winning note as the Bearcats used staunched defense and a lethal combination of aerial and ground attacks to destroy Pitt (0-2) on its home turf.

George Winn rushed for a 58-yard TD run and Legaux connected with running back Ralph Abernathy for a 15-yard TD catch to ignite the Tigers to a 14-0 start.

Cincinnati took a commanding 17-0 lead at halftime and continued their assault into the second half. Winn once again scored on a 9-yard TD run while Legaux found Abernathy the second time around for a 14-yard TD play.

Bearcats kicker Tony Milano converted his second field goal to make it a 34-3 game with 3:55 left.

Pittsburgh finally scored a TD when quarterback Tino Sunseri hooked up with Drew Carswell for 9-yard TD play with 34 second remaining.

Sunseri threw 24-for-37 for 278 yards with one TD while running back Ray Graham rushed for 103 yards on 19 carries.

Winn covered 95 yard on 11 receptions with two scores for the Bearcats, who are set to take Delaware State Saturday and a clash with no.15 Virginia Tech on Sept. 29.
