Minor Injuries Reported after Single-vehicle Accident in Brisbin

BRISBIN – Minor injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday on Teutonic Avenue in Brisbin Borough, the Clearfield-based state police reported.

William Dawson Jr., 25, of Street was traveling northbound downhill when he applied his brakes. He lost control of his vehicle on the wet roadway, as it traveled off the west shoulder and impacted a tree.

The Dawson vehicle came to a final rest approximately three feet from the west shoulder, facing northwest.

Dawson was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for medical treatment. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.  He’ll be cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic through the district court.
