No Injuries Reported after Brady Township Accident

BRADY TOWNSHIP – No injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident at 4:55 p.m. Thursday on the Shamokin Trail in Brady Township, the DuBois-based state police reported.

Diana D. Dutra, 29, of Lewisburg was stopped at the intersection with Caron Hill Road. A vehicle driven by Marsha A. Sartin, 37, of Clearfield was stopped behind the Dutra vehicle.

Sartin was looking to her left for oncoming traffic and thought the Dutra vehicle had pulled out from the stop sign. She began accelerating at which time she struck the rear of the Dutra vehicle.  Both vehicles then pulled off the roadway.

Sartin and Dutra were both wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident. Sartin will be cited for a vehicle code violation.
