Minor Injuries Reported after Motorcycle Accident

WARSAW TOWNSHIP – Minor injuries were reported after a motorcycle accident at 3:30 p.m. Saturday on state Route 28 in Warsaw Township, the DuBois-based state police reported.
Craig R. Birch, 23, of Brookville was traveling northbound and heading uphill when he lost control of his motorcycle after a mechanical problem with its accelerator. His motorcycle then went down before skidding approximately 70 feet.
The motorcycle came to a rest in the northbound lane of SR 28 along with Birch. Birch sustained minor injuries and was transported to the Brookville Hospital. He was wearing a motorcycle helmet at the time of the mishap.
