Obituary Notice: Ann Frances Sees

Ann Frances Sees, 56, of Ramey and formerly of State College died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 at her residence.

She was born Aug. 11, 1956 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late William A. and Alicann L. (Luders) Kaufmann.

She served in the U.S. Army from 1980 -1996 as a med-surgical nurse.  She retired with the rank of major.

On May 9, 1987, in West Seneca, NY, she married Ralph H. Sees, who survives of Ramey. She’s also survived by two daughters, Jennifer Anne Sees of Chicago, IL and Rebecca Marie Sees of Dubuque, IA.

She was a parishioner of Christ The King Church, Houtzdale and was a nurse instructor at the Clearfield Branch Campus – Lock Haven University.  She also was involved with Girl Scouts for many years.

At her request, there will be no public visitation. 

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, State College, at 11 a.m. Thursday with Fr. Charles M. Amershek Jr. as celebrant.

Memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second St.
