Murray tosses three scoring strikes as Georgia pummels Buffalo

Atlanta, GA, United States (4E Sports) – Quarterback Aaron Murray completed 15 of his 26 passes for 258 yards with three touchdowns, guiding No.6 Georgia to a 45-23 victory over Buffalo Saturday at Sanford Stadium.

The Bulldogs accomplished their first assignment in an emphatic fashion, using an array of attacks to crush Buffalo on their home field.

Georgia turned a 26-16 halftime lead to a 29-point blowout behind two great touchdown passes from Murray.

Murray hooked up with Rantavious Wooten for a 38-yard touchdown at 12:25 mark of the third quarter. He then connected with Michael Bennett for a 12-yard touchdown to open up the fourth quarter.

Freshman running back Todd Gurley scored a 55-yard touchdown with 8:13 left to cap three unanswered touchdowns for the Bulldogs.

Buffalo quarterback Alex Zordich threw 14-for-24 yards for a touchdown. He also rushed for 83 yards and scored a touchdown in a defeat.

Georgia will next face Missouri on Sept 8, Florida Atlantic on Sept. 15, Vanderbilt on Sept.22, Tennessee on Sept. 29, and no.9 South Carolina on Oct. 6.

Buffalo will take on Morgan State on Sept 8, Kent State on Sept 19, Connecticut on Sept 29, Ohio on Oct 6, and Northern Illinois on Oct. 13.
