Storage Shed Burglarized in Penn Township

PENN TOWNSHIP – A storage shed owned by the Twin Brook Coal Company of Clymer was burglarized sometime Wednesday along Ridge Road in Penn Township, the Clearfield-based state police reported this afternoon.
Someone gained access into the shed and then removed several metal parts for a bulldozer and other mining machinery. The suspect then fled the scene. State police estimated that the total loss was $800.
The incident remains under investigation at this time. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
