No Injuries Reported after Two-vehicle Accident in Pike Township

PIKE TOWNSHIP – No injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday along the Curwensville-Grampian Highway at its intersection with Bridgeport Road in Pike Township, the Clearfield-based state police reported today.
Esther M. Shaw, 83, of Curwensville and Joseph C. Pentz, 53, of Grampian were traveling eastbound with Shaw following the Pentz vehicle. Shaw started to pass on the left-hand side when Pentz began turning left. Shaw subsequently struck the Pentz vehicle.
Neither Shaw nor Pentz was injured in the mishap. Both were wearing their seatbelts.
