Berea, OH, United States (4E Sports) – The Cleveland Browns and first-round draft pick Trent Richardson agreed to terms on a deal Monday night, according to multiple reports.
According to reports, the deal is for $20.4 million over four years and is fully guaranteed. It includes a $13.341 million signing bonus, with no offset language in the contract.
A star at Alabama, Richardson was selected third overall by the Browns and is expected to be a key contributor this season as the Browns look to get more production from coach Pat Shurmur’s West Coast offense.
Cleveland rookies are due to report to camp Tuesday, meaning Richardson will not miss any time and will take the field for the first workout on Wednesday.
The Browns still need to sign their other first-round pick, quarterback Brandon Weeden.
