New York, NY, United States (4E Sports) – New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow has been spending all week working out with a throwing expert to further improve his passing skills, multiple sources reported Friday.
Tebow has officially begun his preparation for what would be a tight battle with Mark Sanchez for the starting quarterback role this offseason.
The 24-year-old Tebow has been working with former major league pitcher Tom House to make adjustments in his throwing motions.
The former Florida Gators signal-caller has been criticized for his poor passing percentage due to his inability to throw the ball from the pocket efficiently.
“I think he’s getting better, but the proof is in the pudding,” House said, according to ESPN Friday “Being out here at USC is different than being with the New York Jets.”
House has already trained a number of NFL quarterbacks this offseason, including Carson Palmer, Alex Smith, and Tom Brady. However, House became famous after working out with then San Diego Chargers and New Orleans Saints signal caller Drew Brees.
