Police Report: Ridgway PSP

An incident of simple assault occurred at 10 p.m. Sunday on Long Level Road near its intersection with state Route 948 in Ridgway Township. A 19-year-old Eldred woman and a 29-year-old Ridgway man engaged in a verbal dispute that became physical. The man allegedly struck the woman several times and caused injury. Simple assault and harassment charges have been filed through the district court in Johnsonburg.
