Cowboys tweak Vick via Twitter, Eagles respond
Philadelphia, PA, United States (4E Sports) – Tuesday was Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick’s birthday and the Dallas Cowboys sent him a birthday message and tweaked him at the same time.
Vick celebrated his 32nd birthday on Tuesday and the Cowboys’ verified Twitter account sent Vick a birthday greeting that included an picture of Vick being sacked by Cowboys outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware.
“Happy Birthday Michael Vick from #CowboysNation we can’t wait til November, can you?!?,” the tweet read.
For some reason the Cowboys are feeling bold this summer and maybe someone down there forgot about the outcome of the teams’ two meetings during the 2011 season.
The Eagles swept the season series from the Cowboys and Vick was outstanding going a combined 39-for-60 for 572 yards, with four touchdowns and no interceptions.
The Eagles won the two games by a combined score of 54-14 and responded to the tweet to remind the Cowboys.
“Did someone burn the game tapes from 2011?,” the EaglesInsider Twitter account responded.
