Obituary Notice: Joyce L. Korney

Joyce Lynn Korney, age 70 of Anderson Creek Road in Penfield, died June 18, 2012 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
Born on Aug. 30, 1941 in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth L. Bailey & Helen (Hoch) Bailey Lovelace.
On Aug. 1, 1959, she married Joseph Korney. He survives.
She was a homemaker and retired from Jewish Family Services in Beechwood, OH. Previous to that, she worked at General Electric and Endura Plastics. She was a licensed clown and enjoyed bringing a smile to people’s faces.
She was Methodist by faith.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Pamela J. Gelormino and her husband, Michael of Mentor, OH, a brother, Keith Bailey and his wife, Gail of Northern Cambria, PA and four sisters, Esther Pendleton of DuBois, PA, Mary Gromley of Punxsutawney, PA, Martha Fletcher of Glen Campbell of PA, and Marjorie Pennington and her husband, Bill of Clearfield, PA.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patty Jo Korney.
Visitation will be held on June 20 from 5-8 p.m. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on June 21 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Rick Howe officiating.
Burial will be in Burnside Cemetery in Burnside.
