Indianapolis, IN, United States (AHN Sports) – Tamika Catchings scored 16 points and Roneeka Hodges added 15 off the bench as the Indiana Fever kept the New York Liberty winless, 91-68, Saturday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The Fever (4-0) successfully preserved their immaculate record Saturday behind another MVP-type performance from Catchings and bench production from Hodges and second-year guard Jeanette Pohlen.

Catchings scored 14 of her total points in the first half to ignite the Fever to a 49-36 advantage at the break. In the second half, Fever reserves stepped up as Hodges (15 pts), Pohlen (12 pts), and Katie Douglas (11 pts) guided their team to a lopsided win.

The Fever shot .467 percent from the field and knocked down 13 shots from beyond the arc. The Liberty meanwhile went .391 percent on the floor and only hit 5 of their 17 attempts from three-point territory.

Plenette Pierson scored a game-high 24 points for the Liberty, who has been on the losing end in their first five games this season.
