Jessica Simpson sheds off post-baby weight thru Weight Watchers
Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – New mom Jessica Simpson has revealed Thursday she is a new member of the Weight Watchers in attempt to shed off her post-baby weight.
The 31-year-old seems excited to get back in shape, though she has not yet been cleared by her doctor to exercise and she has not stepped on a scale yet since her C-section.
After giving birth to Maxwell Drew last May 1, singer-actress-entrepreneur Simpson tweeted Thursday, “So excited to be a part of the @WeightWatchers family!”
In an interview with People, she said, “I think anybody who’s gone through a pregnancy, after they have the baby, it’s like, ‘I need to do something about this. For me, I really want to do something that is a lifestyle, because in the past, I’ve been known to yo-yo diet.”
According to People, although eating healthy, she indulged in her cravings during her pregnancy. Now that all of her cravings have found solace in almost all parts of her body, she will be taking measures to regain her old figure.
With the support of her friends, Simpson is positive she’ll get through this well. As she told People, “There’s not a goal weight – I just want to feel normal and fixate on inches,” she says. “I really want to set small goals, so I’m constantly reaching goals and not looking at something so far ahead.”
