Police Report: Curwensville Borough

  • A noise complaint was reported from a Walnut Street residence.
  • Police responded to Meadow Street after someone located used hypodermic needles just off Rails to Trails. Police would like to advise residents not to handle needles and to contact police for them to be properly disposed.
  • Police received a complaint about a dog that had bitten a female, causing bodily injury. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
  • Police assisted the Curwensville Rescue Hose and Ladder Fire Company with a gas leak that occurred at the Dicks 101 Pitt Stop. The gas leak was due to an accident. A known female backed out of the NAPA store, and her vehicle lost its brakes. It struck the gas meter and broke it, which caused the leak. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
