Nashville, TN, United States (4E) – Star singer Taylor Swift will donate $4 million to help finance the construction of a new education center at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, CMT reports today.
The new facility, which will be formally launched in 2014, will have two floors with three classrooms and a state of the art children’s exhibit gallery to be built on over 7,500 square feet of space. This is part of the Museum’s plan to expand its facilities from 140,000 square feet to 350,00 square feet.
The new building will be named the Taylor Swift Education Center, in honor of her substantial contribution.
By far, Swift’s donation is the biggest contribution made by an individual since the Hall was established in 1967.
