Jaso RBI double helps Mariners take 4-0 lead over Tribe

Cleveland, OH, United States (AHN Sports) – Hector Noesi has tossed five solid innings and John Jaso has an RBI double, leading the Seattle Mariners to a 4-0 lead over the Cleveland Indians Thursday afternoon at Progressive Field.

Shortstop Brendan Ryan, batting in the nine-hole with a .146 average, added an RBI single while Jaso also scored on a passed ball.

Zach McAllister lasted 5 2/3 innings on the hill for the Tribe, allowing five walks and three hits over that span. He also fanned six batters and was replaced by Jairo Asencio.

Cleveland came into the contest 21-16, while Seattle is 16-23.
