The purpose of this expo is to bring area health and human service providers together in one location for the convenience of the residents of local communities. There is no charge to attend.

Some exhibitors plan to conduct free health screenings. For example, general surgeon Timothy Kavic, M.D., F.A.C.S., will offer a free screening for varicose veins, and will provide information about a new procedure he is performing, VNUS Closure.

Clearfield Hospital’s Imaging Department plans to offer a screening for osteoporosis, while Bright Horizons Center for Emotional Wellness will provide a screening for depression/anxiety.

Additional offerings include: vision testing, lung function screening, blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, body fat analysis and stroke risk assessment.

Exhibitors will provide a variety of information about their services, which include fitness programs, long-term care, women’s health, financial services, support groups, home health care, behavioral health services and community resources for senior citizens.

There will be door prizes and giveaway items. For more information, please contact Amy Duke, marketing manager, at 768-2827.
